Pre-Raphaelites: Drawings & Watercolours

This week, I visited the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford which offers an opportunity to view a internationally-renowned collection of Pre-Raphaelite works on paper, from a sketch on the back of an envelope to grand chalk drawings and watercolours.

We explored the range of techniques and media used by the artists and their intimate and often complex friendships and love affairs.

The exhibition runs until 20th June and well worth the visit to see just some these both beautiful pieces of art by the artists who immortalised legends and the esoteric.
